About the artist Sebao
Sebao has always expressed his creativity through various media. In 2015, this desire to create became a necessity, and this occasional activity became regular. He draws his inspiration from his travels, tales and legends as well as the different cultures he encounters.
As evidenced by his signature, Sebao, which is none other than the nickname he inherited while working in Japan. In order to transcribe an idea, a feeling, a message, all media interest him although he expresses himself most often through painting.
In order to meet other artists and participate in new projects, he is part of an artist collective: Horizon Paris 8eme Art.
Wishing to participate in exhibitions and showcase his works and his style, Sebao is working on his application for the fall show, scheduled for the end of October 2022.
Sebao exhibited at the town hall of the 16th arrondissement of Paris on the occasion of an event dedicated to Women's Day.
Currently, Sebao and other artists from the collective, Horizon Paris 8eme Art, are involved in a project to raise awareness of the artistic practice of people with disabilities. This project involves the organization of artistic creation workshops, as well as the facilitation and monitoring of these workshops.
Sebao sold works now held in private collections in France, the Netherlands and the United States.
