Every detail, from the expressive gaze to the subtle rendering of textures, reveals the artist's skill and sensitivity. The contrast between the soft hues and the strength of the lines creates a presence that is both powerful and harmonious, perfect for enhancing a contemporary or bohemian interior.

About the artist Françoise Schmidt

Self-taught, I have been drawing and painting since childhood.
My background as a teacher of young children allows me to explore the visual arts in all its forms and complexities. With this young audience, I discovered the little pieces of paper that we throw away, store, collect, and recycle. I use these pieces of text, words, and images to construct colorful worlds imbued with lightness and poetry.

Like the mix of cultures, I love the blending of materials, tools, and techniques. I use acrylic paint, spray paint, smoothing compound, sand, stencils, stamps, and of course, paper.

My collection "Homage to the Women of the World" is the culmination of a long journey of discovery, plastic experimentation, my attraction to fashion and the creation of clothing.

I invite you to enter this universe and let yourself be carried away by your emotions and feelings.
