Begonia originates in close observation of the flower, transforming a familiar botanical subject into an abstract investigation of colour, light, rhythm, and organic structure. Rather than treating the plant as a conventional botanical study, JChadima isolates the expressive qualities of its petals and leaves, allowing their forms to expand across the canvas as a sequence of fluid, interconnected shapes.

The composition is constructed through overlapping petals that rise, fold, and recede through the picture plane. Their irregular contours create a dynamic rhythm, while the vertical arrangement gives the work a sense of growth and unfolding. The recognizable structure of the begonia remains present, yet the extreme close-up view shifts attention away from the complete flower toward the relationships between individual forms, edges, and spaces.
