About the artist Céline Langesand

A multidisciplinary artist, I have chosen to focus my work on the female body with the aim of depicting it in all its forms and on all media. In my opinion, the beauty of art lies in being able to bring infinite visions, which allows me to constantly reinvent myself.

I would say that my works reflect a meeting between dreaminess, poetry and feminine sensuality.

The marriage of these elements never ceases to give life to mysterious lines which outline the delicious contours of the female body.

Whether they are carved from wood, sculpted from clay or brought to life through a few lines of line art, the bodies of my muses are deliberately incomplete.

By removing their face and removing their skin color, I choose not to reveal anything about their social or ethnic origin, their sexual and political orientations.

For a moment, I want to erase the prejudices that overwhelm women in our modern societies and transform the way men look at female nudity.
