About the artwork

About the artist Ann Tamm

Ann Tamm is an award-winning artist, art teacher and the owner of Tamm Art Studio in Australia. Influenced by her artist parents, she began her artistic journey at a young age. She specialises in watercolour, textured oil painting and coloured pencil, and also works in charcoal drawing, lino printing, digital art and, more recently, sculpture. She is a member of the Australian Watercolour Muster, Nillumbik Open Studios and several Australian artists' societies. Her work has been shown in a number of highly regarded exhibitions as well as solo shows across Australia. More recently her paintings have been selected for the Japan Nadeshiko Watercolor Triennale, the River of Color international art festival in Mexico, and the Paris Art Renaissance and International Salon in Paris. She has also been invited to serve as an international tutor, delivering workshops at the Kobe Cultural Centre during the Japan Nadeshiko Watercolor Triennale.
