Silent Renaissance (2026)
With Silent Renaissance, the artist marks a return to painting after a period of interruption, signifying a deeply intimate and transformative stage in her journey. Created in January 2026, this work reflects a sensitive exploration of the body, maternity, and female creative power.
The composition features a hybrid figure, both human and mythological, whose metamorphosed forms evoke the physical and inner upheavals associated with pregnancy. The body, simultaneously fragmented and sublimated, becomes a transitional territory, a space of mutation where vulnerability and strength intersect. Here, the artist explores the duality between carnal transformation and spiritual elevation, suggesting an experience that is both mystical and deeply rooted in reality.
Symbolic elements—animal figures, chromatic contrasts, organic textures—contribute to a rich visual narrative, where birth is conceived as both an intimate and universal act. The presence of hybrid beings and a dreamlike imaginary reinforces this idea of an expanding inner world, where life is built in silence, away from view.
Through this work, the artist celebrates the body's ability to carry life for nine months, an experience marked by both invisible and visible transformations. Silent Renaissance thus becomes an ode to resilience, personal rebirth, and the creative power that emerges from cycles of pause, gestation, and renewal.
