About the artwork

This piece represents the final transition into the vast azure, capturing the precise moment of stillness between the terrestrial and the celestial. A delicate, vibrant flora reaches from the grounded horizon toward a crescent moon, where a faceted crystal hangs suspended as a beacon of clarity. It marks the culmination of the journey toward self-sovereignty, where the soul is no longer tethered by external structures but anchored by its own internal light.

About the artist Jyelle

Born in France in 1948, Jyelle’s journey as an artist began when a teacher at the Academy of Arts ignited her passion for painting during her teenage years. Although she pursued a career in teaching, her love for art remained strong, and upon retirement, she fully embraced her artistic calling.

In 2021, Jyelle participated in Arts Atlantiques in La Rochelle, marking her first major exhibition. Following this, she honored her skills further and held a solo exhibition in St. Savinien, France, in 2023. In March 2024, a gallery in Nice displayed her creations, and her work gained additional recognition through her participation in the Circle Foundation for the Arts, where she won the Masterful Mind Award in October 2024 and Creative Excellence in May 2024.

Her pieces have been shown at the Amsterdam Art Fair, and more works are set to appear at the San Diego Art Fair in December 2024. Jyelle is currently organizing another solo exhibition scheduled for December 2024 in St. Savinien, France.
