Michel Meunier

Painting soothes me

BIOGRAPHY

Michel Meunier, born in Paris in 1952, is a self-taught painter whose talent has flourished over more than 30 years of artistic creation.

His works, rich in color and emotion, reflect a deep admiration for the Impressionist masters, notably Claude Monet, whose influence can be felt in his way of capturing light and the beauty of landscapes.
Michel Meunier has developed a style nourished by a careful observation of nature and an innate artistic sensitivity. His colorful, vibrant and expressive palette testifies to a devouring passion for painting. He does not content himself with faithfully reproducing reality but seeks to transcribe the emotion he feels when faced with a landscape, a light, a particular moment.
The artist is particularly fond of landscapes where nature expresses itself in all its splendor. From fields of flowers to green forests and sea coasts, his landscapes are invitations to travel, escape and contemplation.

Over the years, Michel Meunier has developed a personal and mastered pictorial technique, between the spontaneity of the impressionist touch and a constant search for perfection in the rendering of details, each canvas a unique work imbued with the soul and talent of the artist.
