“Strength in Unity” Exhibition – La Samaritaine, Paris

February 2024 – Art, inclusion and gastronomy in dialogue

In February 2024, Horizon Paris 8ème Art had the immense honor of joining forces with the inclusive company Biscornu and their association Afuté to celebrate three years of existence together, marked by three years of determined struggle in favor of the professional inclusion of young people with disabilities , particularly through gastronomy and the culinary arts professions .

For this major event, a highly symbolic location was chosen: La Samaritaine , a prestigious establishment belonging to the LVMH group, located in the heart of Paris, a stone's throw from the Louvre. The 5th floor of this legendary building hosted a unique exhibition from February 9 to 22, 2024, bringing together 12 artists from the Horizon Paris 8ème Art collective .

The exhibition's theme, "Strength in Unity," resonated deeply with the values ​​shared by the three partner organizations. It highlighted the power of the collective , the complementarity of talents , and the creative force born from cooperation between artistic, social, and solidarity communities .

Among the works presented, six four-handed painted canvases were created in collaboration with artists with disabilities from the ESAT La Roseraie , attached to the Avenir Apei association. These creations, vibrant with emotion and sincerity, testified to the meeting between the worlds of contemporary art and inclusion , an authentic and meaningful dialogue.

🎨 A diverse audience —business leaders, patrons, institutional stakeholders, families, collectors, and the media—attended the exhibition throughout the two weeks, unanimously praising the quality of the works and the project's societal impact .
