Group exhibition at the 8th arrondissement of Paris town hall - June 2025

The group exhibition from June 17 to June 29, 2025, organized by Horizon Paris 8ème Art and its founding president Christian Bokenga , was held under the high patronage of Madame Jeanne de Haute Serre , mayor of the 8th arrondissement of Paris. This event was a resounding success , bringing together more than 150 visitors, art lovers, journalists, critics and enthusiasts who came to discover the talent of exceptional contemporary artists.

The opening was marked by the committed and inspiring speeches of Mayor Jeanne de Haute Serre and Christian Bokenga , President of Horizon Paris 8ème Art. Both spoke with conviction about the importance of supporting contemporary creation and promoting emerging artists , particularly in a district rich in history and cultural life.

Originally scheduled for two weeks, the exhibition showcased the work of 19 artists , whose powerful and inspired works captivated both audiences and critics. The careful design and artistic excellence of the works on display generated such enthusiasm that the exhibition was extended for an additional week to allow an even wider audience to enjoy it.

On Monday, June 30, as part of a conference organized at the town hall of the 8th arrondissement, Laura Lesueur , speaker and entrepreneur committed to equality, chose to hold her talk in front of the works of women artists from Horizon World Art , in the heart of the exhibition.

Accompanied by a delegation of influential women , she took this opportunity to pay a sincere and powerful tribute to women artists , highlighting their essential role in renewing imaginations and transmitting emotions. This highlight added a committed and inclusive dimension to the event.

The opening continued in a warm atmosphere with a refined cocktail , during which guests exchanged freely with the artists. Over a glass of wine , the discussions continued, mixing artistic discoveries, human sharing and moments of conviviality. An elegant moment appreciated by all.

Among the highlights, the visit of journalist and art critic Victoria Zuniga of Zoom 'art magazine sparked passionate discussions with several artists. Her expert and compassionate perspective helped reveal the richness of the artistic approaches on display, while also strengthening the visibility of the talents present.

This exhibition demonstrates the cultural dynamism of the 8th arrondissement and the commitment of its stakeholders to promoting contemporary art.
