Flowering Selena is an evocative exploration of threshold and sovereignty, rendered in rich oil on canvas. The piece establishes a striking architectural dialogue through an open, golden-yellow frame that looks out onto a deep blue, undulating night sea beneath a luminous moonlit sky. In the foreground, a vibrant, rhythmic explosion of stylized flowers in warm reds and greens brings an intense vitality and structural depth to the canvas. Juxtaposing the sheltered, blooming interior with the vast, mysterious pull of the infinite horizon, Flowering Selena captures the profound transition of looking out into the world from a position of absolute personal clarity and light.

关于艺术家Jyelle

Née en France en 1948, Jyelle a commencé son parcours artistique lorsqu'un professeur de l'Académie des Beaux-Arts a éveillé sa passion pour la peinture durant son adolescence. Bien qu'elle ait poursuivi une carrière dans l'enseignement, son amour pour l'art est resté fort et, à la retraite, elle a pleinement assumé sa vocation artistique.

En 2021, Jyelle a participé à Arts Atlantiques à La Rochelle, marquant ainsi sa première grande exposition. Par la suite, elle a mis à l'honneur son talent en organisant une exposition personnelle à Saint-Savinien, en France, en 2023. En mars 2024, une galerie niçoise a présenté ses créations, et son travail a été reconnu davantage grâce à sa participation à la Circle Foundation for the Arts, où elle a remporté le Masterful Mind Award en octobre 2024 et le Creative Excellence en mai 2024.

Ses œuvres ont été présentées à la Foire d'art d'Amsterdam, et d'autres œuvres seront présentées à la Foire d'art de San Diego en décembre 2024. Jyelle organise actuellement une autre exposition personnelle prévue pour décembre 2024 à Saint-Savinien, en France.
